Register2 is a web directory built on the principle that a curated, hand-reviewed archive is more useful than an automated listing. Every site in the index was submitted by its owner and reviewed by a human curator before being assigned to one of the 22 named sections. The result is a collection of 832 active, verified entries rather than an undifferentiated aggregation of whatever the crawler happened to find.
The archive covers a broad range of industries and service types, from healthcare and legal services to gaming, automotive trade, and travel. Each section is a self-contained finding aid: you can browse within a category to compare providers, or use the index as a starting point for research into a market you are not yet familiar with. The section headings are descriptive rather than keyword-driven, reflecting the way a curator would organise a reference collection.
Submissions to Register2 are free and open. If you operate a website and would like it included in the archive, visit the submission form and provide your domain, a brief description, and the section that best fits your service. Every submission is reviewed before being added to the index; sites that do not meet the basic curatorial criteria are not included. There are no paid tiers and no premium placements — every entry in the archive is treated equally.
The catalogue is updated on a rolling basis as new submissions are reviewed and accepted. Existing entries may be updated or removed if a site changes its service offering or ceases to operate. The goal is to keep the archive accurate and useful over time, not to maximise the number of entries at the expense of quality.
Register2 does not collect personal data from visitors beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the submission form. The index exists to serve researchers, casual browsers, and site owners who want their work to be discoverable in a well-maintained reference collection.
